After one year learning about international business at the University, I decided to continue my postgraduate studies as an MBA student. It is a well-recognised course and can provide a deeper understanding of business, along with some practical skills.
As a student, I’ve learned a lot from uni life at the University of South Wales, not just through my course, but also with my practical skills. During my studies, I was inspired by useful suggestions and information from tutors, the Drop-in Centre, the Learning Resource Centre, the Advice Shop and my classmates.
Meanwhile, the Students’ Union offers a lot of on-campus and off-campus activities. Party animals will enjoy the various parties on offer. People who don’t like parties, like me, can still enjoy student life by reading, watching movies, or shopping around Cardiff city. Cardiff is a nice place to explore, including the Cardiff Bay area, and the shopping centre. For sports fans, the uni sport centre offers very nice equipment, facilities and courses.
I really enjoyed the interactions between students and tutors. My spoken English has improved and my knowledge has broadened. Lecturers are very nice and kind, and students are welcomed to chat with them. For me, I liked exchanging ideas with my lecturers both in and after seminars, lectures or workshops.
After my studies, I’m hoping to work in the UK for one year before returning to China. Then I may work as a tutor in a university in China. For me, it was a memorable experience learning at the University of South Wales. If you are thinking about studying a top-up course in the UK, this university will be a nice choice.
