Why did you choose this course?

I chose this course because of the need for supply chain in every business. It does not matter if it is a large or small business; there will always be supply chain involved. By studying supply chain at degree level, I think it may increase the chances for me to get a job in the future.

Why the University of South Wales?

I chose the University of South Wales because I want to continue my Masters programme at the University after I graduate. The MSc International Logistics and Supply Chain Management course here is accredited by CIPS and CILT. Membership of CIPS and CILT can be gained as well after finishing the course, which is useful for my future career.

What’s been the most exciting part of the course so far?

The most exciting part of the course so far would be learning how companies react to the demand of customers within the supply chain. Strategy like Lean, Agile and Leagile are chosen by companies depending on their different situations.

Leisure activities

I love the environment around here, it is relaxing. I usually go out for a walk during free time, or just take a train to Cardiff which is nearby.

Tell us about the lecturers

John Davidson is a very helpful and friendly lecturer. He would always suggest to the class some solutions when we met some problems. He is also very knowledgeable as well. My lecturer explains things in such a way that make it easy to understand.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I hope to work in the supply chain sector after I graduate. I wish to work abroad for some years before going back to Malaysia so that I can gain different experiences from different countries.
