Rasa is entering her third year of study at the University of South Wales after studying abroad and completing her work placement.
“Next year I’m going to do my final year in Interior design course. I joined university at 2012 and from the moment I tried to take the most out of it. First year was great because all was new to me: new people, new city and of course I started with my dream course. During the second year I decided to go with Erasmus (student exchanging programme) to Sweden for half a year. That was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. New people, new country, slightly different studying system than in Britain made it as a memorable time abroad. Coming back to the University of South Wales to finish the second year, my course provided me an opportunity to win a year internship with an Interior design and fit out company. I was lucky to win it and now I’m working as an Interior designer for already 9 months. The experience I’m getting out of this company is invaluable, because it will make me very confident on my third year and when I finish the course.”
