Fees and Scholarships

Scholarships

Students from South Africa are eligible to receive our International Academic Scholarships which are available across all levels of study.

  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for undergraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 for postgraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for MBA students

Entry Requirements

Foundation Entry Requirements

Applicants who have Senior Certificate (No Matriculation) with 5 grade C’s at standard level and have an IELTS 6.0 or equivalent can gain entry into the Foundation Year Programme. Those who have the same qualification but an IELTS of 5.0 can gain entry to the International Foundation Programme (IFP) Intensive English.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for undergraduate study. If your first language is not English we expect you to to have one of the following English language qualifications:

Senior Certificate with a grade C or higher in English
GCSE/O-Level English grade C or above
IELTS 6.5 or above (with a minimum 5.5 in each band)

Academic Qualifications

Applicants who have followed the A-Level curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be considered
Applicants who have followed the IB Diploma curriculum can be considered for undergraduate entry – the normal UCAS tariff will be considered
Applicants with a Senior Certificate (with matriculation) and 3 B grades and 2 C grades at Higher Level with a grade C or higher in English can be considered for direct entry to our degree programmes
Applicants who have successful completed a Higher Certificate / Higher Certificate in Technology will be considered for direct entry our degree programmes
Applicants who have successful completed a National (Technical) Certificate N5 will be considered for direct entry to our degree programmes
Applicants who have successfully completed a Diploma in Technology (DipTech) will be considered for advanced entry on a case by case basis

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Postgraduate study. If your first language is not English we expect you to have one of the following English language qualifications:

Senior Certificate with a grade C or higher in English

IELTS 6.5 or above (with a minimum 5.5 in each band)

Academic Qualifications

Applicants with the equivalent to a Second Class Lower degree will be considered for masters programme entry
Applicants with a masters degree will be considered for masters programme entry
Applicants with a Technikon National Higher Diploma (T4) can be considered for entry for masters programme entry
