The University of South Wales is a popular choice amongst New Zealanders and has been welcoming students from New Zealand to its three campuses for many years.

Popular courses amongst New Zealander students include film and video, education, sports studies and accounting.

Fees and Scholarships

Scholarships

Students from New Zealand are eligible to receive our International Academic Scholarships which are available across all levels of study.

  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for undergraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 for postgraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for MBA students

Entry Requirements

Foundation Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Students who have passed the Sixth Form Certificate may be considered for entry onto the Foundation Year Programme.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Students who have passed the NCEA Level 3 will be considred for direct entry onto an Undergraduate degree. Students will also need at least 14 credits in Level 1 for Maths and English.
  • Students who have completed 1-2 years of university in New Zealand may be considered for advanced entry onto a Undergraduate degree.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Students who have a lower second class honours degree from New Zealand will be considred for entry onto a Masters programme.
  • Students who have a lower second class honours degree from New Zealand and a minimum of 2-3 years of managerial work experince will be considred for entry onto the MBA.
