Welcome

Number of Students

The University of South Wales has been meeting student from Myanmar in their country over the past 12 months and we have seen an increase in the number of students studying here. The University is a popular choice amongst Burmese students and welcomes students from Myanmar to its three campuses.

Popular courses amongst Burmese students are BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering, BA (Hons) Business Management, the MBA (including associated pathway options) and Masters degrees in engineering.

Students from Myanmar have appreciated the scholarships offered by the University and have enjoyed the high standard of living but relatively low cost of living that South Wales offers. Students appreciate the friendly, safe and welcoming environment of the university and benefit hugely from the location – surrounded by breathtaking scenery and impressive historical landscapes, boasting excellent transport links and the buzz of two dynamic Welsh cities.
