The University of South Wales has been welcoming students from Greece for many years and it is a popular choice amongst Greek students, who enjoy the high standard of living at relatively low cost that South Wales offers. They also benefit from the reduced fees that the Welsh Government offers.

We offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a range of areas; popular choices amongst our Greek students are Law, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer games development, Psychology, Forensic Science, Media and Design.

Other Details

The Executive Board at DOATAP in Greece has granted the University of South Wales recognised institution status.
The University regularly provides DOATAP with information on the studies of Greek students who wish to apply for recognition in Greece of their higher education qualifications. These students will be considered by DOATAP through its regular processes and timescales.
If any Greek students wish to apply for recognition of their qualifications and have not already done so, they may request the University to send their details to DOATAP by emailing the Assessment and Awards Unit, Student Administration Services (Email: aau@southwales.ac.uk)

Entry Requirements

Foundation Entry Requirements

  • Ptychio TES/TEL or Ptychion TEE (Higher Diploma Cycle B) or;
  • Apoytirion with a minimum score of 12

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

  • Apolytirion with a score of 16+ in conjunction with the Panhellenic-Hellenic exams.
  • Apolytirion without the Panhellenic exams will be considered with a score of 18 or above.
  • Holders of other qualifications, please contact us.
  • Certain programmes, such as LLB Law or International Wildlife Biology, have different entry requirements. For further information please contact us

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

  • Ptychion from AEI or a Masters Degree or a Diploma from faculties of Engineering and Agriculture normally with a grade of at least 6.5.
  • Holders of a Ptychion from a TEI with a grade of 6.5
  • Holders of other qualifications, please contact us.
  • MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably after graduation and student should be aged at least 23.
  • Proficiency in the English Language is essential for study at South Wales. Please refer to the English language certificates page.
