The University of South Wales has been welcoming students from France for many years. Our students have been enjoying the high standard of living and relatively low cost of living in South Wales. Students benefit hugely from the location – surrounded by breathtaking scenery and impressive historical landscapes, boasting excellent transport links and the buzz of two dynamic Welsh cities.

Scholarships

There are undergraduate scholarships available to EU students and the University offers a Centenary Postgraduate Scholarship to EU students worth £1,500 or £2,000. Further information can be found here.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

  • Baccalauréat Général with a score of 12 or above, French Baccalauréat with International Option
  • Baccalaureate General / Technologique
  • Baccalauréat Professionnel (BacPro)
  • Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie
  • Holders of other qualifications, please contact us.
  • Certain programmes, such as LLB Law or International Wildlife Biology, have different entry requirements. For further information please contact us.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

  • Maîtrise
  • Diplome d’ingenieur
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Licence / Licence Professionelle (from 2002)
  • Diplôme from an Ecole Superieure de Commerce/Gestion/Politique
  • MBA applicants should have one of the above and ideally 1 year of work experience.
  • Holders of other qualifications, please contact us.

English Language

  • Students should provide evidence of achieving at least 14 out of 20 in their IB in English
  • TOEIC Score of 880
