Popular courses amongst Egyptian students are our courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in business and management and engineering.

Students from Egypt appreciate the scholarships offered by the University and have enjoyed the high standard of living but relatively low cost of living that South Wales offers. Fees and Scholarships


Students from Egypt are eligible to receive our International Academic Scholarships which are available across all levels of study.

  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for undergraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 for postgraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for MBA students

Entry Requirements

Foundation Entry Requirements

IFP entry for those who have a minimum score of 60% in their Thanaweya A’ama/General Secondary School Certificate Examination or Al-Azhar General Secondary School Certificate.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

Applicants with A-Levels or the International Baccalaureate can be considered for degree level entry in which case the normal University UCAS tariff points would apply.

Applicants with suitable two year diplomas can also be considered for degree level entry.

Applicants are required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent for undergraduate entry unless they have completed O-levels/GCSE English. Such applicants would be expected to have a grade C or above.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

Bachelors degree with a score of 65% (Good) and above may be admitted to a relevant postgraduate course.

Students from the American University of Cairo will need a minimum 2.0/4.0 GPA
