Welcome

Number of Students

The University of South Wales is a popular choice for Chinese students and our student body reflects this, with around 800 Chinese students currently studying with us. The University has been welcoming students from China to its campuses for many years and fully recognises the important contribution that they make to our community.

Students appreciate the friendly, safe and welcoming environment of the university and benefit from the location – surrounded by breathtaking scenery and impressive historical landscapes, boasting excellent transport links and the buzz of two dynamic Welsh cities.

Our Chinese students find the support of our excellent English language centre invaluable both prior to and during their studies. They have also enjoyed participating in our well-established clubs and societies, which enable them to integrate into UK student life. Students from China have appreciate the scholarships made available by the University and have enjoyed the high standard but relatively low cost of living that South Wales offers.
