The University of South Wales is an approved institution for students from British Colombia and Ontario to apply for loans to support their studies with us.

Fees and Scholarships

Scholarships

Students from Canada are eligible to receive our International Academic Scholarships which are available across all levels of study.

  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for undergraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 for postgraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £1,500 for MBA students

Entry Requirements

Foundation Entry Requirements

  • Applicants who hold a Canadian High School or Secondary School Diplomas with an overall score of less then 60% in 5 subjects at grade 12 will be considered for a Foundation Year Programme

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

English Qualifications
Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of South Wales recognises the Canadian High School or Secondary School Diplomas English language result as Proficiency in English.


Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants who have satisfactorily completed one year of a college/university program with GPA of 2.8+ depending can direct entry to a relevant undergraduate programm
  • Applicants who hold a Canadian High School or Secondary School Diplomas with an overall score of 70% (B average) or above in 5 subjects at grade 12 will be considered for direct admission to a undergraduate degree programme
  • Holders of the Diplome d’Etudes Collegiales (from Quebec) or the Attestation d’Etudes Collègiales with an overall score of 60% or above should be considered for entry on to first degree programmes.
  • Post secondary 2/3 year diploma’s should be considered for advanced entry to the 2nd/3rd year of a relevant degree programme

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

Academic Qualifications

  • Applicants with the equivalent to a Second Class Lower degree will be considered for masters programme entry
  • Applicants with a masters degree will be considered for masters programme entry
  • MBA – For entry to MBA applicants should have one of the above and at least 3 years relevant work experience after graduation.
